Day 8: Billy

we finally went out today! but bad things happened. We went to a store to get gasoline. we didnt pay for it though. i thought we were supposed to pay for things? Eric had to kill Hawkins. He was fighting off the bad peoples and got infected, at least thats what mommy and eric said. Eric had to shoot him. Then we ran. we got in eric’s and went to a place called Tulsa. Ive never been out of oklahoma city. We also found a place where mommy said we would be safe. they said it was a church. I had to get up too early! Mommy said there was a note. People are on there way to something called a base. I dont really know what that is. Mommy said that we would be safe here and that we were going to stay here for a couple days. Mommy said we shouldnt go into the basement. The bad people are down there. Mommy said the bad people like it down there. Every time i see them. they dont look right. like something is controlling them. Mommy hasnt told me anything. just things not to do and to stay with them.
