Day 5: Eric

Today has been another long day we've been doing better not as much crying today were just getting bored and restless esp me I wanna get out and do something! Which is why today we sort of held a meeting to mAke up a plan of what to do if the zombies do attack us. I know that weve got the weaponry to fight all thanks to me my parents don't actually know about it and no one else knows how ive gotten it I've been stockpiling up on these weapons for awhile preparing in case some disaster or something like this happened where did I get the weapons? Ive got friends in places.

So the plan is that if the zombies attack the house, the less experienced people will go up into the upper floors and shoot from there and the more experienced will stay down here with me.

Now who's experienced enough to stay on the lower floor? Me (of course) and probably Dante and Hawkins and the rest probably upstairs well maybe not Hammond I know he's a nerd and all and probably hasn't had much physical experience with guns but I bet he's played a lot of shooter games and that could help us.

What we've also began to realize is that we need to rely on each other and connect and we have been talking with each other I think the others are starting to like me I hope they Are because we need to be more of a team for when the zombies do attack so that we can survive.

There's also another problem that were gonna have in a little while our foods gonna run out soon so well have to go get more I don't wanna risk going back into the city it was hard enough getting out the first time but I know there is a store a few miles away or so we might try to hit that place up once we get low on food which the way these guys have been eating because they're so bored is pretty fast.

We've been doing better today but I still keep thinking of the all of the questions why why why why? Why us? How did it happen? How are our families?

Why did this happen?

Why why why why why can't you use periods? Please? Your story is really interesting, but the run-on sentences are driving me crazy!

If I may be so bold as to reply, part of why the typos and various punctuation/grammar mistakes are left in the blog is because it makes the blog more realistic. Given the setting, I think that run-on sentences are our characters' last concern, yes? Teenagers, just like those in this story, make mistakes.

That's true, I suppose. If I was being attacked by zombies I would not be terribly concerned about punctuation. I apologize for being critical, it is creative writing after all. I would like to say that I'm really loving the blog though! I'm really excited that you guys are doing this.

Hey, no harm no foul! We welcome feedback! The authenticity of the blog was important to me, and I felt I needed to respond. We're thrilled to have readers :)

If you know any Hollywood execs looking for a new take on the whole zombie Apocalypse thing, feel free to send them our way!

I absolutely will! If I ever find any... It's a very smart and somewhat realistic take on the story that is so popular right now. Who would've thought that fungus ants would be the carrier except our very own HCP? Very creative! And a little scary...
    :)
